Self-proclaimed Asshole
Hamels gives up a homer to Springer on the third pitch of the season.
Gonna be a long year.
Yes.... yes it is.

Pulls it right into the shift.![]()
For whatever it's worth, one of the talking heads was predicting there will be 'limitations' on shifting within a few years.
Imo there should be. Not saying get rid of it altogether, but maybe limit it.
I've got mixed emotions about it. I understand where you're coming from though.
But for me, why the hell can't 'professional' hitters punish em for doing something this silly and the shift would go away all on it's own?
That turd overachieved against us last year.
Odor.![]()
That 'turd' hit .303 last year. And exactly, why is he a 'turd?'
Either way it’s his last season here.Hamels isn't doing a whole lot to enhance his trade value.
And you don't even see the weakness of this argument. You astound me sometimes son, I swear you do. But I like ya anyway. haHe hit .355 against us last year. Therefore he hit well against everyone else too. Lots of big hits from a guy whose probably the 8th or 9th best player on his team. So what? Just shows what a terrific team they have, and that's 'assuming' your assumption of him being their 8/9th best holds water.
He also ruined Darvish’s perfect game.
I’d say he’s qualified for turd status.
