Tigers have forced a game 7 with a 2-1 win in Cranbrook tonight. Game 7 goes Wednesday night in Medicine Hat.

Go Tigers! I'll probably buy the shitty neulion feed and watch that game online.

Crazy game 7 in Rimouski tonight between the Oceanics and the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.

Rimouski blows a 4-0 1st period lead then they score with less than 4 minutes to go in the 3rd to make it 7-6. The Armada tie it up less than a minute later and then win it 8-7 in OT.

So now the final 4 are set for the Q. Baie Comeau will play Blainville-Boisbriand and Halifax will play Val D'Or.

Yikes, Victoria dinged by the league for a brawl (actually there were two brawls) in their final playoff game against Portland.

Magee got a 12-game suspension for his actions, while Steven Hodges got five games for his role in a similarly ugly second-period brawl. Almost as eye-popping, the Royals were fined $10,000. That’s the WHL’s largest fine for on-ice conduct going back to 2007-08 (the previous high over that span was $3,500).

Tigers complete the comeback from a 3-1 series deficit with a 4-1 win in game 7. woot! They might be cannon fodder against Edmonton in the next round, but pretty happy they came back to win this series.

Talent wise I think they match up OK with the Oil Kings, but you do have to wonder how much they have left in the tank considering Edmonton has been off for almost a week. Regardless that was an awesome comeback against a very good Kootenay team.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference and Western Conference series were played last night:

Edmonton 8, Medicine Hat 3 (Tigers look both mentally and physically fatigued last night, hopefully game 2 will be better)

Kelowna 5, Portland 4 (Portland has lost all five games to the Rockets this season (Kelowna swept the season series)

Hodges i agree with. Punching someone when their not looking is bush leagueish.

McGee i do not. IF you watch the game Petan was taking every cheap shot in the rule book at "jumbo" Joe Hicketts. Mcgee was just showing some leadership and taking out Petan

Better performance by the Tigers in game 2, but a 3-1 loss to Edmonton and they have a 2-0 lead in the series heading back to Medicine Hat. It doesn't look good.

I saw that Oil Kings goalie Jarry is 10-1 so far this postseason and I was wondering if his play this postseason is more because of a commitment by Edmonton to play well in front of him, or is he really playing well?

Edmonton has a very good team (they have been ranked in the top 10 all season long), but Jarry is a very good goalie. I still think whomever comes out between Kelowna and Portland will win the WHL championship, though.

Portland always seems to be in the mix. I've kept up on them this season because of Pouliot. Heard he had a big hand in their comeback win the other night over the Rockets. Can't wait to see what this kid can do in Pittsburgh next season. Same goes for Jarry. Not that I expect him to be in the NHL next year, just nice to know the kid is progressing.

Well after dropping the first 2 games home to the Val D'Or Forreurs (Miners?), the Memorial Cup Champion Halifax Mooseheads trail Game 3 5-1 halfway through the game. :D

Anthony Mantha has a hat trick. It never ceases to amaze me that Zach Fucale is somehow considered an elite goalie. :L

Looks like a Quebec team will win the Q title for the 1st time in 5 years, and only the 3rd time in the last 9 seasons.

To be fair, I guess Fucale was only in for the 1st 3 goals. He did make 1 save before being pulled 3:28 into the game.

1-1 after one period in Medicine Hat between the Tigers and Oil Kings - This just in, Mitch Moroz (Oilers draft pick) is a useless tit of a hockey player.

I spoke too soon! :L Halifax has tied it up, 5-5.

Mooseheads win 6-5 in overtime. I guess it's time I start believing in jinxes.
