Royals 2 Chiefs 1 OT

Travis Mother fucking Brown at 8:10 in OT

Rob Benbow and his shitty crew showed complete bias towards Spokane

two Examples

1) Brendan Fushmi (royals forward) in on a 1 on 2. He tries to drive past the D-men. When that doesn't work. He checks the guy in the facemask. Ref raises his hand. 2 minutes for roughing

2) Austin Carroll (royals forwards) Drives towards the net after receiving a pass. Cheifs Defenders Drives he elbow into Carroll's face. No Call

Line brawl between Windsor and London.

Edit: On Saturday, the teams had a line brawl that hearkened back to the bad old days in hockey. Windsor's Cristiano DiGiacinto started it by punching London's Gemel Smith, who didn't drop his gloves. Everyone piled in, and when all was said and done, five players had been ejected and (reportedly) the mother of Spitfires centre Brady Vail had been fined for trespassing and banned from London's Budweiser Gardens for throwing a beer can into the Knights penalty box.

Quite the barn-burner in Cranbrook tonight - Hitmen beat Kootenay 7-6 in OT to take a 2-1 series lead.

that game was pretty loopy ... Knights won 10-2 (Bo Horvat 4 point night :thumb:: )

Windsor goalie gave up 8 ... finally gets the yank (correction ... yanked himself lol) ... then goes home lol

http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/jr...en-kuchmey-leaves-arena-during-022243884.html

On Tuesday, the Windsor Spitfires goalie got his first Ontario Hockey League playoff start, and unless the team's management is incredibly forgiving, it might be his last. The London Knights routed Windsor easily, eventually winning 10-2. Kuchmey, who provided a feel-good story at the start of the season when he made the Spitfires as a 19-year-old rookie, was in net for the first eight Knights goal. After the eighth, he pulled himself from the game, and as Spitfires coach Bob Boughner confirmed afterward, left the WFCU Centre before the end of the second period.

On Tuesday, Flyers prospect Anthony Stolarz, the 6-foot-6 goalie for the Memorial Cup host London Knights, covered up a puck to stop play and didn't much like the Windsor Spitfires' leading scorer Josh Ho-Sang getting an extra slash in with his stick. The referees caught the slash and gave Ho-Sang a penalty. The retaliation by Stolarz, a one-handed stick swing that connected with the back of Ho-Sang's head and neck area, was also deemed worthy of just a two-minute high-sticking minor, even though it was exponentially more emphatic and forceful:

Tigers drop game 4 in OT tonight in Speedy Creek which knots the series at 2-2. Home teams holding serve thus far.

Chiefs are done after an uninspired 6-1 loss falling down 3-0 in the series against Victoria. Congrats to Nucksfan84 and the Royals franchise! Would love to see them win the West over Portland or Kelowna.

you guys played tour hearts out tonight.

Sucks there is no game 5, 6 or 7. Both Teams deserved that

Royals 4 Chiefs 2

OT but i watched this game at a sports bar(webcast) and at the end they did a draw for Box seats for 10 to the first game of the next series. My Mom won. Not gonna go because i got playoffs tickets and i actually like watching hockey at arenas by myself(no one i know around me).

Interesting - Rumours are the Lethbridge Hurricans have been sold to True North Sports and Entertainment and will be relocated to Winnipeg as well as the Kootenay Ice being sold and moved to Lethbridge to take the vacated Hurricanes spot.

https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/b...rge-cougars-ownership-kootenay-165510758.html

I heard rumors about this a couple months back. Where there's smoke there's fire as the saying goes. I'll be sad to see Kootenay go, their rivalry with the Chiefs was always fun, but I don't get why they don't just move Kootenay to Winnipeg. Wouldn't that be simpler? I'm sure there's a lot of money switching hands behind closed doors in this and that's the driving force, but still from the outside it seems overly complicated.

And why does Prince George still have a team? Such an awful location for this league.
