Garret Richards taken out on stretcher in Angels/Red Sox game. Tough break for Angels.

Tragic break for them. Can't imagine they've be able to overcome the loss of their best pitcher.

They called it the patellar. No clue. Got any idea?

Machado had a patellar ligament torn last year. So if it's anything like that it's bad.

I believe it's the tendon which holds the kneecap in place. \

And you're right, that's bad.

Should have gotten Mitch to bail you out when these things happen.

Funny guy..... I think he pitched a scoreless inning this year didn't he? I could use it right about now.

Patellar tendon originates from the rectus femoris muscle, holds the knee cap in place, and inserts on the tibia. If that's what it is, he's toast for the year.

McBride just hit his 1st HR of the year for the Rockies and it happened to be a GS that just put them ahead by 3.

An expert to our rescue.

I thought this was the case, but certainly wasn't positive.

It kept Machado out for over half a season, and he's kind of struggled this year too.

As much as I can't stand the Angels I hate to see it happen to a guy who came outta nowhere to be the ace of their staff.

That's what the Angels reported on ESPN. Looks like toast

Was just looking at the score and about to give up on the Rockies. Great.

Meaning a full year, right?

That's awesome. I hate the Royals, so I am gonna hate getting beat by them this weekend. Go Rockies go!
