I wish Choice would start hitting because I have a feeling he is going to be our RF next year.

If he is we're totally fucked IMO.

Sorry, but I don't see him as being anywhere close to being ML ready for 2015 at this stage.

I doubt we will see that many youngsters in the line-up.

You are probably right, but I will let them take themselves out of consideration. That will be my projected lineup until they do something to change my mind. How many of them do you think will fail to make it?

By then some other guys will be making a push in the upper levels too. Overall I am very bullish on our future. I don't have much hope for next year and only a little hope for 2016, but if JD does this right I think we have a very bright future.

While an arm injury is clearly the worst for a pitcher, a leg injury has to really delay the rehab process. How can you build arm strength with out a solid base to push off ans support you?

Bingo.

Gone where? Like gone in dead money?

And I think you're selling short some of the guys we have here now......Tep/Ross/Martinez/Mikolas.....Are you just ruling these guys out?

Youth sometimes is misspent on youth, if you know what I mean?

He has already been dead money and I don't think that will improve a whole lot. By 2017 I think he will no longer be starting for us.

I think Tepesch and Martinez are fine and will bridge that gap for us until our higher upside guys arrive.

Someone or 2 or 3 guys will get hurt along the way. I can't factor that in though, but I know it will happen. It could be all to the guys you just brought up and it could be to the ones I mentioned or a combination of the two. I am leaving out injuries though unless it is someone already injured like Harrison.

Too many people too down on prince. I'm cautiously optimistic.

If they fixed his problem, there is little reason to doubt that he will be productive. Yeah I get it that we should temper expectations blah blah blah, but he was hurt and they supposedly fixed it. If he can now elevate with his swing he will be alright.

SEA is only 1 game back from DET for the 2nd WC spot. Although I would hate watching 3 teams from our division in the playoffs, it would be awesome if DET didn't make it.

With the proper rehab, he should be ready to rock.

He looked bad at the plate last night, but he made a catch on a routine fly ball in RF which was good to see

So I just now saw that Engel Beltre might be done forever with baseball. His leg won't heal properly. I somehow missed that story.

That sucks for him. I liked him, and really pulled for him to succeed.

Any of you seen Profar lately? He's HUGE. Not the Neftali Feliz kind of huge either...he used his lost season to get ripped.

They showed him the other day and he's gone from 165 to 205 and is rock solid. Will surely drop some weight during a season of baseball but should stay around 195 and if he keeps working out should have some more power with the added weight and strength

Opening Day 2017

C Alfaro
1B ?????
2B Odor
3B Profar
SS Elvis
LF Williams
RF Gallo
CF Brinson
DH Mazara

SP Darvish
SP Martin
SP Holland
SP Gonzalez
SP Thompson, Jackson, or Ortiz

Maybe that void at 1B will be someone they trade for this coming offseason or at the next deadline. I think Prince will be gone or on the bench by then.

Choo.

Also, impossible to predict. This lineup indicates that we completely throw in the towel for next year because there aren't any top FA's in the rotation/lineup. Its positively optimistic though for sure

God...Angels fans are such self absorbed assholes. They are whining so hard over the Richards injury claiming their franchise, which has a WS victory mind you, is "cursed." Apparently Kendrys Morales, Nick Adenhart, and now Richards means the Angels have nothing but bad luck....

The death of Nick Adenhart was a tragedy, but it sullies his memory to lump his death in with two injuries where people's lives are not threatened.
