Any of you seen Profar lately? He's HUGE. Not the Neftali Feliz kind of huge either...he used his lost season to get ripped.

I saw that when they first showed him taking grounders, but not throwing, he looked very thick through the shoulders and chest

They always said that if that happened his long term position might end up being 3B

Nothing wrong with that.

I didn't realize his fielding and speed scored that high.

Now he projects as Dan Uggla-esque on defense and in the future maybe a Casey McGehee type

His speed proejcts in the Jason Kubel territory

Neither is very good

Actually 50 is league average, at best he projects to be an average defender

Which is why Corner OF spot is the most logical spot. The big arm can make up for crummy defense. Just pair him with a good CF and it should be okay.

Agreed, just making sure that Romeo knows that its 1st number = current & 2nd number = future/potential

Not that he gets 45 out of 50 points on defense

Right because the grades are usually out of 80 correct?

yes

80 – Franchise Player, perennial MVP and CY Candidate, potential Hall of Famer, #1 starter.

75 – Franchise Player, potential MVP and CY Candidate, guaranteed All-Star, #1-2 starter.

70 – Second tier franchise player, potential MVP and CY Candidate, perennial All-Star, #2 starters, top closers.

65 – Consistent all-star contender , #2-3 starter, 2nd tier closers.

60 – Inconsistent all-star contender, #3 starter, 3rd tier closers, premier setup men.

55 – Above average player, guaranteed to have a starting job, #3-4 starter, bottom tier closers/strong 8th inning pitchers.

50 – Slightly above league average, should hold down starting job, #4 starter, 8th inning relievers.

45 – League Average player, strong bench player, #4-5 starter, solid bullpen arm.

40 – Slightly below league average player, able to maintain a spot on 25-man roster, #5 starter, adequate bullpen arms.

35 – Below average, struggles to maintain a spot on 25-man roster, bench player, long relief or specialists.

30 – Well below average, earns invites to training camp, may make weaker teams, up and down relievers.

25 – Minor leaguer, will only make teams through injuries.

20 – Career minor leaguer, struggles to get into any games at big league level.

Garret Richards taken out on stretcher in Angels/Red Sox game. Tough break for Angels.

Watched it live on ESPN. Channel 1606 if you have AT&T Uverse. Looked really bad.

My fantasy team is fucked now. That guy was pitching like an ace this year. I didn't think I was gonna win the league anyway, but now my chances are shot.
