Moreland might've been becoming that guy before he went down, in fact this year his OPS is over .700 (.707) against LHPs, so he's actually playing decent against same handed pitchers

Hopefully the last 4 or 5 games are an indication that he's coming out of it

We can certainly hope so. The MLB should ban hamstrings. They have caused us the most trouble the last few years.

Murphy has played RD before. But I agree. You want your best arm in RF.

ESPN is so full of it. On the Cards-Dodgers game they were saying what a great day this is for MLB showing that they will punish players for cheating. Then about 10 minutes later they switched to the NY game to show A-Rod's first at bat. I guess it's a great day for MLB but not ESPN.

Not much of a Washington fan but looking at the ESPN article about what happened in the club house today it looks like Wash handled everything perfect. The remaining players are in about the best place with all this that they can be which may or may not translate into folks stepping up but I give major props to Wash for his handling of today. With any luck the players will use this situation as additional motivation to step it up.

Good job with this Wash I tip my hat to you.

Tonight's lineup though, now that is a different story...
