For the record where we play is also largely irrelevant. Texas winning more away is honestly more likely a statistical anomaly than anything else. There is honestly zero crowd factor in baseball, and any perceived advantage you gain from playing at home has more to do with creature comforts for the players. Texas has a pretty neutral field for pitching/hitting this year. Where they play really only decides what uniforms they are going to where. The only time I think HFA matters is the WS because playing without a DH hurts AL teams.

Pretty good article overall but leading off with Josh Hamilton's quote was not needed. He could have added Profar playing in the field instead of Kinsler and Gentry bring benched the day after going 4-5 in the biggest series of the year. Lke I said a few days ago, this is not me but fire RW. He is incompetent when it comes to strategy.
