Wait so is it darvish or Perez pitching? On my mlb app it says darvish. On espn.com it says Perez?

Just cause it's the most likely outcome doesn't mean it will happen
I didn't say it was the most likely outcome or that it would happen.

Oh and it should be Darvish starting. Where did you read Perez?

They use the a variation of Bill James Pythagorean expectation....That is directly from the CoolStandings website. They are the ones who set the odds. People take them from that site.

Ok, the Bill James theory then. The one where his formula had the 2002
Yankees winning 101.07 games and they won 103.

If TB and CLE stay true to form and play .500 on the road
then Rangers need to go 4-2 to catch Indians and 5-1 to catch TB.

Absolutely right, but when you consider how inconsistent this team has played this year... poor home record, 11 shutouts, two blown AL West leads and a miserable September record... then Senator fan is right when he said, for them to land a WC spot "something pretty out of the ordinary is going to have to happen".

Can the Yankees or white sox win a freaking game???? I'd rather not make it because we didn't take care of our business against the Astros and Angels then go 5-1 or 6-0 and still not get in.......:gaah:

Rev said something about division teams loving to stir things up even when they're out of playoff contention. Hopefully he's right...for them at least.

Maybe if they sweep the Rays. Haha...we can only hope.

It's in New York..... I think it's their last home series of the year. You'd think the Yankees would want their fans to see Rivera close a game one last time. He probably won't get any save opportunities when the Yankees play the Astros in Houston.

I'm headed to Yu bobblehead night again tonight. I went to his other bobblehead night this year and they ran out of bobbleheads. On top of that, I believe we lost 1-0.

I like this lineup about the best of all. When Baker was hot then I may have wanted him at 1st against a lefty.

top of the 1st, Kuroda has given up a homer, single, double(advanced to 3rd on throw) and a sac fly. 3-0
