Now, maybe Teodo can begin to get stretched out in minor league camp. I believe their games just started up recently.

It shows the importance of Teodo getting stretched out. We have bullpen depth; we need as much starting pitching depth as we can get in AA and AAA.

Tyler Mahle said he feels “great” and that yesterday’s scratch was just a precaution. He expects to pitch in the next few days.

“I was feeling a little extra soreness and I just wanted to make sure,” he said. “I knew nothing was wrong, I just wanted to see what it was.”

I wonder if the Rangers signed Strickland to have another minor league guy available because they want to trade a relief pitcher. I only wonder that because this seems like a very late signing without an injury to a relief pitcher to necessitate such a late signing.

Or, maybe they wanted him all along and it took him this long to give up on a big league deal.

good question. Directv is supposed to televise RSN on channel 677 but i can't get an answer from them on when it starts and Victory+ which i had is now telling me i have pay $100

1. Scherzer dealing with thumb soreness:

Veteran right-hander Max Scherzer is dealing with a bout of soreness in his right thumb, according to Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet. Manager John Schneider called the Blue Jays’ decision to scratch Scherzer from his upcoming start tomorrow is the club “just being extra careful.” Scherzer missed time in 2024 with a litany of injuries, one of which was a nerve issue in his right arm that spanned his thumb to his triceps. If this latest thumb/nerve issue proves to be more serious, Toronto could call upon right-hander Yariel Rodriguez to step into the rotation from the bullpen or carry Jake Bloss, who is currently ticketed for Triple-A, on the big league roster to open the season.

It was on free TV local channel 33 today. On those days the cable and satellite services won't have the game. They will just be in free TV those days

All of them will be available in the Victory + app, which does cost $100. I used that today instead of channel 33 so I could make sure I would know what I was doing when tje season starts.

Did you pay for the Victory+ app?

If not today's fame was on local over the air channel 33. The ones that aren't on free TV will be available on the various cable and satellite carriers.
