What are y’all’s thoughts on Thomas Saggese and Jonathan Ornelas?
I’m high on both of them.
I Think they will both be good major leaguers.
I see them as .270/.320/.425 guys with decent pop, 15-20 Hrs and being able to play different positions. Probably be 2-3 WAR type players

I want to keep both for now. Ornelas seems to have played some CF

Does having those 2 plus Foscue and Acuna make Duran and Smith a little more expendable in trade talks in your opinion?

They do mine lol

All of those make Foscue, Saggese and Acuna more expendable to me. I like Foscue as a hitter, but he is a lot less flexible position-wise. I rate Foscue, Smith and Duran as the best hitters between all of those guys, and that includes Taveras and Bubba as well.

Hard to know what is going on cocerning LF. Duran has been getting time in LF since going back down. Not sure if any serious decision has been made which way to go concerning LF. We still have Thompson to consider.

Sign Syndergaard for $11/2
That’s $54 million
Trade for a SP, 1 Bullpen arm and try to catch lightening in a bottle with a couple of Matt Moore type signings for the bullpen
