No More "Bullpen Failure"
There were lots of years around here where we would have been really excited to have guys like Hauver, Wendzel, Crim and Carter in our system. The great thing is because of guys like Smith, Foscue, Harris and Duran, those other guys are kind of "out of sight out of mind." It is a great position to be in.I agree
Foscue and Smith seem like they’re going to be very good major leaguers.
Duran is still debatable in my book.
He struggled pretty hard in A ball once he came over. Could have been a fluke rut due to the trade. Time will tell. He’s done well in the AFL though so it’s looking up.
The same can be said of our pitching. Even though they are closer, guys like Otto, Kent, Alexy, and Dunning are on the backburner in my mind. That is because of Leiter, Winn, Vanasco, White and Roby.
