I like Eddie Rosario but he hits left handed.
jason Castro isn’t who I like. I like Curt Casali.
Hunter Renfroe and Nunez have shown they can have an OPS+ of 100 or better and they’re both young and possibly on the rise. They would also be under team control for 3 and 4 years if they do start to blossom if not cut bait for the youngsters.
I just feel our young guys, who may not pan out, are still about 1 year away in my opinion.

It will only be a bummer to me if he deserves to start and doesn't. If he is a gold glover and is on the bench because there is a better overall player to play that position, then that is wonderful. That is a great position to be in as a team.

Texas has a new first baseman in Nate Lowe, though the cost to get him was high—maybe too high.

He is a TBD player for sure. Don't really know what to expect from him.

I have family in Colorado and he did well 3 of the 4 years he has had a chance to play at the MLB level offensively. The 4th was last year but last year did a number of wacky things to some players. I don't have much knowledge on his defensive abilities.

Yep, we have awhile to find out if Seise or Acosta either one is a better overall player, but neither are likely to be better defensively.

LF and CF or not known for certain. DH could be anyone's guess?

Seems strange we do not know more about our team. Ex: 1st base has lot of moving parts. 2B is a?. 3rd is the same and SS could be one of four candidates. Gallo would be our RF but will he be here? LF and CF or not known for certain. DH could be anyone's guess?

Don't forget about Seise and Acosta at SS. IKF has lot of competition. If he doesn't win at SS then my guess he plays 3rd. Then there is Apostle. He can play 3rd or 1st. My point I failed to make is how we use to know who was playing almost every position. Now we have at best a guess.
No I do not think Odor can play 3rd. Do not see him going any where unless the owners buy him out and to date they have been to cheap to do that.
Overall we have just made a few trades that may help and some young talent coming. But are they ready? example...Jung Acosta Seise Tejeda etc. So many questions to answer. Very difficult to look at the line up and know who plays where.

Acosta should be good in the future but I don’t think he has even played a game in pro ball yet. I would think he is 2 years away at least if not 4. He just turned 18. Now that doesn’t mean anything.. Juan Soto came up quick but again that is rare. If Acosta hits the ground running in the MLB at 22 I think we would all be happy but that is 4 years down the road.

I’m hoping to see a good year from Seise but I don’t think he will factoring into much at the big level next year. He needs to prove he can stay healthy and consistent. Now if he starts tearing it up down in AA he maybe able to move on up but he is a very rough prospect.

Anderson Tejeda is probably the most mlb ready prospect for SS imo.

I do think Acosta has the higher ceiling though.
I also believe Seise has all the tools to be an amazing SS if he can stay healthy and cut down on the strikeouts.

I think 1B is set with Lowe. 2B is either Solak or Odor. SS belongs to IKF for at least 2021. RF is Gallo. DH is Calhoun. Dahl is our LF. I think Taveras will be in CF. Everything is set except for the cheap free agent we pick up for 3B.

Remember when you knew Beltre was on 3rd and Elvis was SS and etc. Nothing for certain any more. We will get there again but when?

One required spending a lot of money in FA and the other required trading a talent like Teixeira.

We haven't had a talent like Teixeira to trade since we refused to trade Beltre and I am not sure if this group will spend what it takes to land a FA of Beltre's caliber. In other words, don't expect that exact kind of scenario until we have new ownership and a replacement for JD.
