Texas Rangers 2019-2020 Offseason Thread

I’m glad Santana is getting the opportunity to play everyday somewhere.

I felt like he earned that chance last year and the front office was too scared to pull the trigger and piss off a “regular” like odor or condor.

I know he got time later in the season, but they waited way too long in my opinion.

with that said, I remain very disappointed about how they’ve handled the infield this offseason. It feels like castellanos is a big need now since we struck out on every other position player. I’d bring in Frazier at this point. I don’t want to see someone struggling to play defense over at 3rd all season like solak might do.

They pulled the trigger on Condor. He was sent down and then his time was limited.

And who is every other position player besides Rendon that you are desiring to have that we missed out on?

When I was eleven years old he took me and my brother to our first Rangers game. It was on bat night on a Saturdsy evening in May of 1974. We played the Orioles. He also took me to my first Cowboys game a couple of years later. Great memories.

Getting rid of Mathis is a start.

There are currently 24 pitchers on the 40 man. That is a bit much.

Heard his framing skills took a drop. The big disappointment to me was his not helping catch for a guy like Hearn. Don’t think he did much for the other young guys either did he?
