Tennessee vs OU is big for Big 12

The Big 12 has a fairly weak OOC schedule once again this year. TCU won on the road last week against a P5 opponent... some claim Minnesota may be strong enough to represent the B1G West this year. But, Texas looked pathetic against ND, and now it is up to OU.

This game has significant implications for both programs. Huge for Big 12 if OU puts a beatdown on the Vols...

Agree. I also want to see OU undefeated when we play. I had held out some hope that when the playoff era started we would get away from the perceptions problem, but it has just made it worse.

I like the Vols but it would be best for us if OU beats them so Im rooting for OU to win. We take care of Liberty and then get a good test as far as what we might expect for the rest of the year vs Maryland (groundhog day anyone?).
Could be a big one looming in Norman if we both handle our business the next few weeks.

As bad as the UT defense… especially their pass defense performed last week… OU should have a big day on offense.

UT has an offense though… so, it will be interesting to see how OU handles them.

I hope Tennessee lays an egg. A game like this should not be so important, but since everyone likes to schedule FCS schools and not play the other power conferences, this game is one of the few measuring sticks between these two conferences

Vol fans had the joint rockin and the Vols looked good for about 3 1/2 quarters. Heckuva come back by OU, great game!

Bowling Green played Tennessee tough and blew out Maryland. After watching Maryland handle USF easily, I think it's fair to say that show BG to be better than average at worst.

Maryland played a different style… with a different QB… against USF than it did against BG. USF was terrible… dropped TD passes…. dropped INT's…

BG was beat yesterday at home by Memphis.
