Because Donnell plays on the road on a Thursday in a place where Eli hasn't had a multi TD game in more than four years.

Ertz is a used target on a good offense.

I read something about how opposing tight ends does nothing against SF so I don't have a reason

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

TKO brings up an excellent point. But As you mentioned SP, Donnell is getting tons of targets. (Only 5 TE have been targeted more than Donnell.)

Ertz may have the better matchup. SF looks to be a TE killer, but week 1 vs DAL was not Witten's fault. (Or SF.) Bennett had a good game vs SF in week 2. And Zona's Carlson was held to 33 yards in week 3. But it's Carlson.

I'd still lean toward Donnell. Neither is really a TD magnet yet. And Philly spreads the ball around. Where Donnell seems to have established himself as Eli's security blanket.

which is what im thining, i dont care about the td's they both arent td machines, i need targets and catches, donnels 6 for 40 yards is 10 points, ertz may go 3 for 55 and get me less

If SF plays this right, and they HAVE to.... they will TRY to pressure Foles. Happy feet means TE targets. I'd go Ertz.

Philly down to the crumbs at the bottom of the barrel with Olinemen..I'd say they should be able to get that pressure..whether they cover behind it is a different story

Well, Celeck seems to be out of the picture THIS YEAR.... you are correct ....but the Birds WR's are not playing well either. Teams are one on one with Maclin...he's no burner like DJAX, and while a good receiver, not a great receiver. I see Foles THROWING to Ertz, McCoy and Sproles... in a short game strategy.

Eli doesn't trust his new offense, and he doesn't have much else around him. He seems to me to be in typical: QB = uncomfortable = TE targets. Pair that with a better matchup, and I would go Donnell.

I started Morris too, down 14-0? They better catch up quick, or he ain't gonna be running much.
