So I see he tore his ACL and "other stuff" when he dislocated his knee? What's the "other stuff"? Because reading about what happened, the injury sounds pretty similar to Shaun Livingston's knee explosion. If that's the case, Bridgewater's career could be in jeopardy.

I think the sky high ticket prices for week 2 Sunday night football just decreased so that is a good thing if one would want to go see the opening of the new stadium

This sucks especially for Vike fans. Teddy and the Vikes looked like they may have just been coming into their own. I hope him well in his recovery. Hope they stillcome out in droves to support that new stadium. It looks amazing. I think a lot of NFC teams just breathed a sigh of relief.

Fans of most teams can use injuries as an excuse. It's just not valid if a NE tries and use it.

Injuries are like inclement weather, bad calls, missed opportunities. All teams have them it's part of the game.

Sucks for Ted, but it's not as if he was some world-beater back there. The guy was arguably the worst regular starting QB in the league. The Vikings are going to be fine. Hell, they might be better off. This may force them to stop pretending that Teddy was anything more than captain dinktastic. Give the ball to AP and get the fuck out of the way.

For a non-contact drill, this injury sounds disturbing. I mean...I guess TB coulda been running full bore, and then planted to cut.

Too bad. I like Bridgewater. I thought he was the best QB in that class before the draft and never understood how he dropped so much. Funny that I think he ended up being a little overrated recently by many, but still think he is decent and a good guy. Hope he is able to come back and play.

We probably won't know the "other stuff" until they actually get in there and start looking around. From the sound of it no arteries or nerves suffered major damage so that is really good news and should leave some Vikings fans hopeful that maybe he can come back. The problem with an injury like this is it might honestly be 2 years before he is fully back. This whole first year will be excruciating in trying to get back to the point that he can move decently and then the problem is he has to get back that confidence in the knee to actually hold up. We saw this with RGIII after his knee gave out that his entire footwork changed where he was afraid to put a ton of weight on that front foot when throwing so most of his throws were off his back foot leading to a ton of accuracy issues.

So at least from what I have read I'm thinking this could be a 2-year rehabbing process. Doesn't mean he can't play next year but he won't be the same player at least for another year.
