Ok I will go over this slowly , BSG can take Mccains slot snaps , hell you have fuller who can take them and butler can take outside cb snaps ,Buffalo snaps and safety snaps . Oh the and now the injury prone Larsen is in play and the 3rd round , 5th rated center stepping in as a rookie

I am not sure the term "they had" or "they wanted" means much to anybody...or should mean anything. This front office is incompetent and one of the worst in the league. Why should fans care what they "wanted"? Just because they wanted 2 DBs doesn't mean it was right. I don't care if Rivera had Forbes rated highly because I don't care about Rivera. This is the same guy who scouted out and assembled an absurd package for Carson Wentz. He hasn't exactly crushed it when it has come to talent evaluation. In other words, just because Rivera wants a player, it doesn't mean he is 100% correct.

I don't believe we should rubber stamp and agree with each every move just because Rivera "wanted" to do it. That makes zero sense.

I hope the Martin pick works out but it seemed to me as well that picks 2- 4 should have been OLineman.

I would have thought that if the goal was to develop Howell and have him be our franchise QB, we would have thrown more resources at the OLine to ensure that he was protected at all costs.

Just my opinion. Being the arm chair GM, I would have loaded up on big uglies to keep Howell clean and confident.
