Have you heard of Paulie Gee's Pizza? I hear it's the best in the world..

Ive never heard of it but i looked on line and it got some great reviews. Next time im down in the Greenpoint area ill stop in. You mustve had to give the delivery guy a huge tip.

Lol. I saw it on headline news today as the top 100 places to eat. The owner said that he purposely doesn't have delivery service because he wants his customers to get the true and real experience of what true NY pizza is about. I'm almost tempted to head east for 7 hours to eat at this place:)

There's a good pizzeria just about every corner over here. The crazy thing about that is i am sitting in the middle of Manhattan 8 hours a day and i cant find a place that has good squares (sicicilian) I'll try to stop by and give it a taste and let you know if its worth the trip :laugh3: i even like the name :pizza:

It may be owned by the mob:wtf2: There is an outstanding pizzeria up in Buffalo ( LaNova) probably one of the best joints I've ever had.... also mob owned.. Lol

Manhattan has some great deli's to eat. Pizza is better in the other boroughs. Philly has NY beat in most Italian food IMO.

No such thing as mob owned. They may say they own it but they never put down any money to buy it. Several of my boys growing up turned into gangsters and all they do was go for free food and have the owners pay them protection money. Any hustle to make money instead of getting a real job. But i always have a good place to make my bets.

I just googled up best Italian restraunts and no where in any article were there any from Philly listed but several from NYC. Where did you hear this misleading info?

Lol. Google is a wonderful tool. I travel and like to check out these places by luck. South Philly has some wonderful restaurants. Of course it's been a few years since I've been to Philly. There is a place ( not sure if it's still there) on Long Island that I loved. If I recall I think the name of the restaurant was Vincents? It was in Bayshore area.

My "Flyers are going to draft this guy because he is big" fear this year goes out to Samuel Morin. He is 6'7" (Some sites say 6'6" or 6'8")

I have never been to vincents but yes it is still there. some friends have been there and say the food is good. If you check their website they sell their own gravy (sauce to you non italians). You could probably order some and it will be like your at vincent's without the commute.

In my very limited knowledge, at least Zadarov seems to be a good shutdown guy. Not a guy we need at all, but a valuable piece none the less. I just don't like the looks of Morin, something about him screams bust to me.

His name sounds to similar to Zherdev. I hope he doesn't have the same work ethic as the guy mentioned.

We don't have to worry about that if we select Zadarov. He just isn't a player we need, though

Ok I'm down to my two finalists who I want the Flyers to draft. I will be thrilled w with either Pulock or Rasmus. Both guys I believe will be studs. Both are big guys and will grow nicely in their frames over time. Both are solid blue liners. Pulock sounds like he has a cannon of a shot, which I really like. Rasmus reminds me of a future Timmonen, possibly may be better. I'm off the Nurse bandwagon. These are my two guys!!! I think after all the hype that awaz was tking about, I decided to do my own homework on these two.
