Right now I'm hoping Nurse falls to us in the 1st, and we then manage to snag De La Rose in the second.

His offensive ability is not there yet, but he seems to be a good, gritty Center/Winger. Admittedly, his name and nationality have me pretty interested too, but a DLR-Couturier-Read 3rd line would be pretty awesome. Or possibly putting Laughton on the wing. My only problem with this dream 3rd line is that we'd continue to deprive Couturier of offensively capable linemates.

Do you guys think last year was how the rest of Hartnell's career will be with us or will he return to form like he was the previous season, the reason i ask is maybe we could package him in a deal along with this pick and get someone

IMO it will be somewhere in between.. i dont think he'll get 37 goals again, that was and will be his career year i think

edit: the other part of my comment was, normally you cant get the same type of value in a package deal that you can from just using the pick.. sure its risky, but at this point, i'd rather the flyers take the risk on drafting someone, then trading (and likely overpaying) for someone who is more proven.. you can only get superstars for cheap 1 way, thats through the draft.

sweet kidneys of christ-who wants to give up our leader?(sorry,Hartnell should have been made captain IMO).

He may not get up to 37 goals again, but it won't be from a lack of effort.

I love hartnell and his effort and his ability to stand up for our team and his personality. Im just saying his contact is kind of big for a season like last season and i was hoping the answer to my question was he will return to his performance of 2 seasons ago.

What's up boys! Happy Monday all. The ladies are wearing very little clothing here:) it's 80 degrees. On another note, some Flyers news.

Nurse, a mature 18-year-old

I hate when they put out stuff like this. The guy has no idea of the pressure associated with playing in the AHL,let alone the NHL.

How many OHL,CHL.or WHL so called "cant miss"prospects are there that didn't even play 1 NHL game?

Ask our last 50 million goalies about pressure in Philly.
