Never been on that specific road, but I've heard about it from others - esp. motorcycle enthusiasts that I've known. I have driven roads in Great Smokey Mountians National Park and Pisgah National Forest - which are both in that same general area - that have at least a bit of that 'flavor' to them.

Have definitely driven 129 not sure if i've driven this particular stretch, but i do remember some pretty sketchy curves.
