And "sources" reporting sanchez is bleating about his fear that the jets are considering putting him on IR and probably ending his career as a starter in the NFL. The "Sanchize" is clearly heading for a 3rd string back up role or the CFL this time next year and Rex will be lucky to get a job as the DB coach for Penn State.

Good times in the Meadowland.

Mark Sanchez fears Jets will put him on IR

Your obsessive hatred of the Jets is comical.

I don't like the jets. I can't stand ryan. But that is probably a pretty natural reaction for a fan of a team that is a rival in the same division isn't it? I mean, the jets may be pretty pathetic these days but they at least have a theoretical possibility of winning the division or beating the pats.

What is your excuse with the pats? The titans aren't division rivals and everytime they play the pats over the years they have managed to get blown out in some ungodly fashion. If I was a titans fan the pats are one of the last teams I would want to be focusing my attention on, I would think you would want to blot them out of your memory.

If I was a titans fan, I think I would be reminiscing about the glory days of Vince Young and Al Hainsworth; hell you never know when pac man might become available again, rather than ranting about the pats.

Going forward, Sanchez wouldn't be a terrible backup. As far as I can tell he's a pretty decent guy and is relatively well liked. He's not starting QB material but as a backup he wouldn't be a terrible option. He has a ton of pressure on him coming from a "sexy" college football school, playing for a New York team that traded up to take him high in the draft, went to back to back AFC Championships games. It's just too much for him to live up to.

He gets $8.5M guaranteed this season. If I were him, I'd save every cent and walk away from the circus at the end of the year and live like a king for the rest of my life.

You said that Sanchez would start because Rex has a thing for him.

EXACTLY my point about your posts on the subject and I have to admit you made it in a much clearer and direct fashion than I usually manage to do.

BTW your supposed to be one of the high muckety mucks on this board, aren't you? Don't you have something better to do than stalking me?:suds:

You are absolutely right. And you disagree with me if he was healthy? I also pretty clearly remember using that caveat.

Well reports say the Jets were going to start Geno anyways. his ankle injury held things back, but they were ready to move on from Sanchez. Rex was one of the people who agreed with moving on from Sanchez.

Probably not a bad idea to allow Sanchez to heal properly. That said, not sure if Geno is ready to step in there and play well. I was never a fan of Geno's ability to handle pressure and he will be getting a lot of that in the NFL. Seems to me Sanchez's return will be determined by the quality of Geno's play.

Says who? Sanchez made dumb mistakes in the preseason games as well, and hes a 5th year vet. Geno had the better numbers over training camp, his ankle injury held him back. But hes more athletic and has a better arm than Sanchez. Rather go with the future than with a guy we know already sucks.

First you quote me than you ask says who? I'm basing it on his play in college. If there isn't a D to play against, he'll hit open recievers all day long. But put him under pressure and watch him fold, take bad sacks, safety etc. He isn't tuff so when he rolls out and gets nailed NFL style....you'll see him audible to the RB's for the rest of the game.

If Geno is the Jets future, all the AFC East will be very happy. The Jet's seem to heading for the basement and a race to a top 5 pick. There are lots of good QB's coming out next year. Boyd, Manziel, McCarron, Murray and Bridgewater to name a few.

One of them may be the Jets future.

Apparently the OP is channeling his mentor and confidant....(ronborges).......lmfao

I am not sure that ron would consider calling him my "mentor" a compliment and I am not sure how I feel about it. As for being his "confidant" I get too nervous when I see his avatar (be it the uni bomber look or the one eyed droog) to get that close to him. And since when did a pats fan need a "mentor" or "confidant" to despise the jets or visa versa?

Besides, you are supposed to be ignoring my posts per directive of "the administrator" If you get "hammered" I don't want to be collateral damage.
