Complete roster overhaul (except for Thor and Yvan) for the second straight season. With a few guys who just practiced last season.

Should be some familiarity that wasn't there last year and certainly more talent but with 7 ranked Big Ten teams it's probably going to be another rough one.

Other than the McGowens signing, the Breidenbach kid is intriguing. Looks like George Mcfly but it sounds like he was dominate in the California summer league this year

Yeah. Nebraska still needs a big body to throw their hips around under the rim to get to .500 in the Big 10.
They're gonna need to play scrappy which leads to foul troubles, but it gives them their best chance at some upsets. I do want Hoiberg to install and have them play within the system he plans to run in years to come. No sense getting all crazy this season and getting away from that.

The Golden Window tourney next week is intriguing to see where they are against descent mid-majors.

The Huskers will play Saint Louis on Thanksgiving at 1 p.m. The Billikens finished 23-8 last season and were likely headed for the NCAA tournament before the season was canceled by the pandemic.
On Nov. 28, the Huskers play San Francisco, which finished 22-12 last season and narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA tournament after losing to No. 1 Gonzaga 81-77 in the West Coast Conference tournament.

2019-2020 season

(7-25) overall and dead last at (2-18) in conference

You had to get to #9 in the Big 10 to get to .500 in conference (Michigan 10-10)

I'm waiting on the commish to tell us that it's too dangerous to play anyone outside the conference.

Just 9 turnovers to McNeese St's 24.

Ball handling looks to be improved.

Imperative that the Huskers keep the turnovers under the 20 that we've grown accustomed to for the past decade.

Really impressed with Banton. I mean our point gaurd is as tall as our starting 5s were under Miles.

If Mayen can continue to knock down those threes this offense can be really good this year. We got 5 wing type guys who love to get to the rim when the other big man is out defending the perimeter.

Defensively, we didn't give up anything easy. Made them shoot over us and dribble through us.

Competition gets significantly better tomorrow though.
