Strange how similar to '10 this year has been.
Same stumble out of the gate, rash of injuries, Chicago way out front . . .
'12 is shaping up pretty nicely.

Finley only does one thing IMO:

He keeps opposing defenses from thinking about T Crabtree, although with a 72 yd td, no one will forget him now. Guess that means Finley can hit the road anytime.

Haven't seen anything worthwhile out of JF since the last time they played the Cardinals.
What TT & MM see in him is beyond my comprehension.

One last point concerning Finley:


I would've canned JJ after '10.
The guy is amazing this year!

He won't turn it around. He can't even play 4 snaps without getting into a scuffle and/or dropping a pass.

James Jones is definitely amazing. I don't want to lose Jennings, though. I don't want to lose Nelson either. But I guess we can't have that unit together for ever, it just isn't realistic.

In hindsight, the only player I REALLY miss that could still play for us right now is Cullen Jenkins. I miss Collins, but he needs to keep that neck healthy.

Got a bad feeling we'll be missing Clay for a while after the bye.
He's starting to be a little irritating - obviously tons of talent, but poor health and/or conditioning.
Seriously? A hamstring injury EVERY year?
I'm starting to wonder just how short his carreer may be.

He does seem to have an issue with that leg, and they haven't figured out how he keeps pulling it. I don't know. I think it's similar to the Bob Sanders/Troy Polamalu effect. Most linebackers just take out a blocker head on and wait for safety help if there's no obvious way to juke the blocker and get to the RB. Matthews plays contortionist through a fleet of 300 pounders, and ends up on the bottom of the pile a lot. He's not always perfectly squared up when he hits the RB, either. He gets away with a lot more than other guys would.

Yea it's nice to see that even when our guys are struggling in the trenches, they can still dominate the bottom dwellers. Hopefully that means they're learning. I remember the Badgers of old, and I don't think I can handle seeing them drift back in that direction. Especially because this team still pour their hearts into it.

As for the Packers, it looks like Jordy is going to be back.

I think the Badgers will be alright. QB injuries certainly hampered their year.
