We're going to spank them again, and build ourselves a nice lead.

Is there an offensive line more "offensive" [to their fans] than the Bears?

I love their line!!!
[too bad Carimi is so bad . . . oh well]

Yea I don't know how Carimi has managed to regress. Either he just hates being in Chicago, or he actually sucks. I find the latter a lot harder to believe.

Mneh. Our lines are both garbage. I'm not sure why McCarthy thinks we're going to get away with all of these slow developing routes with the kind of protection Rodgers' gets. They need to shake it up... Period... And honestly, Rodgers is almost too patient right now. He needs to remember what this no protection thing was like. Recognize the play is dead and start improvising.

How 'bout a little "West Coast" offense?
Quick hits over the middle to open up some deep stuff.

I'm not getting too worked up yet.
No one expected 2010 to be anything.
Everyone "knew" 2011 was going to be awesome.
We all know how those campaigns turned out.

If they get in, anything can happen.

Yup. Woodson should be back now. I don't know about Matthews. I'm actually afraid to look it up.

So get this -
The GB paper had an article mentioning how McC changed his play calling to help RT Don Barclay out [undrafted rookie] - he went with shorter pass plays along with the running game! [check out post 11/26]

Seriously McC? You couldn't figure that out before?
For the love of . . .

Although that 11 minute FG drive to start the 4th was a thing of beauty!

Howdy boys ,whats up in Packerland?

Howdy Papalou!
The Pack is back in first place!

Sounds like Bielema is leaving UW for Arkansas.

Bielema leaving Wisconsin for Arkansas

Notice towards the end of the article it says that Bielema "has expressed interest in coaching . . . the Rose Bowl, but it's unclear if he'll be allowed to stay on that long."

EXCUSE ME? WHAT THE . . . ?

[I think I hope he gets crushed in the SEC]

Yea I don't know WTF is going on with the Bielema thing.

I feel like the Vikings actually let the Packers off the hook on Sunday. Why would they give Ponder a chance to give the ball away when the Pack had absolutely no answer for AP?

The Vikings prove one man can't win a game by himself.
The Vikes had zero chance against GB as far as I'm concerned.

They're gonna lose in week 17 too.

The whole thing is about Barry, actually. He won't let Bielema pay the assistants enough money to keep them around. According to Bielema, after the B1G CCG win, 3 or 4 of the assistants came to him about a raise. I think he's avoiding facing yet another year of replacing assistants.

I think that's the reason the SEC is THE conference - MONEY.

I don't know - it may not be Barry's call anyway. College football seems to be a lot about what goes on behind the scenes [kind of like the "Stone - Cutters" episode on "The Simpsons"].

I think you're right about the SEC. I don't think it's just about the head coaches or the recruiting. If you have the money to keep a staff around, that's huge.

Maybe Barry's hands are tied when it comes to assistant salaries. I don't know. Could be one of those Madison liberal "fairness" things where he can't pay football assistants too much because the cross country coach and art history professors would cry about it.

How 'bout that 4th quarter drive?
All on the ground?
Who were those guys?
More to the point: Where have they been all year?
[Barclay has really impressed me]
