Was a lot more nervous playing the Pats' D than I will be to see the Chiefs go up against the Niner D.

This reminds me of a great story (that I think is true)...the British music magazine NME (their equivalent of Rolling Stone) in the early 70s started having annual rock star death pools, and Keith Richards was always listed #1. Somewhere in the early 80s, they announced that he would no longer appear in death pools because clearly with all the abuse he gave his body, he was immortal.

It would be very very shocking if either team rolls the other. Should be a good game. Comes down to containing the Chiefs. There's no way they score less than 20. If the Niners can keep them under 30, they have a good shot at scoring enough to win. Maybe they will, maybe not.

Kyle carpenter is a ridiculous human being. His entire lower jaw was blown off, he should have never lived. Almost like 100 some surgeries.

he literally lived because of random miracles and circumstances. His doc has run out of morphine, so he couldn’t give him any in the immediate aftermath. The morphine in hindsight would have killed him the surgeons discovered.
