Big fan of Quinn. I think he is an excellent coach. Its not a fluke that ATL has gotten so good so fast. That being said I think the Pats find a way to win 1 more.

31-27.

NE stops the run and controls JJ. I fear Sanu having a huge game. Regardless NE wins this one.

Just read that Brady's mom has been sick for the past 12 months. Don't think he would need extra motivation, but maybe this does.

Truth is that she's been very sick for the past 18 months.

The reason he dropped the Deflategate Appeal is because he wanted to take the suspension time to visit with her.

Anyone ever notice that TB wasn't anywhere to be seen during the suspension?

If his mother does come to the game Sunday, Brady will win it for her 70-17.

He was at a Michigan game. Nude sun bathing in some country.

In the Pats previous 6 SB's, they haven't scored in the first quarter. They can't do that this year.

The important thing for the Pats will be sustained drives. I heard a couple of tv dudes saying how the running game is irrelevant.

I think that's stupid.

If White, Lewis and Blount can play keep away with Ryan, it'll be game over. Time of possesion's gonna be huge.

Both offenses will be trying to keep the other offense off the field. The more opportunities that a team has, the greater the possibility of scoring points. Brady said that he expects no less than 70 offensive plays. At 30 seconds each, that would be 35 minutes of Patriots offense. That means the Patriots plan to control the ball for at least 35 minutes, which would only allow the Falcons to have it for 25 minutes. That would limit the Falcons to 50 offensive plays. You can't keep the other team off the field if you're not running the ball.

I don't expect the Patriots to jump into a 'no huddle' offense to start the game. I think they will take as much time as possible and try to eat up 7-8 minutes on their first couple of drives, if their plan is successful. If it is, the Patriots will score TDs not FGs. If it's not, they'll be kicking FGs and no getting into the end zone and the strategy will undoubtedly change.

The one thing that everyone, including Quinn know, is that Bill Belichick can and will change everything in the middle of an offensive or defensive series based on what he sees happening on the field. 9 out of 10 times, he's dead nuts correct.

Oh snap! Brady just gave the Falcons bulleton board material.

"Some people just don't know when it's best to say nothing at all."

"I wonder if Dan Quinn will have the quote made into a banner for the locker room?"

I think Lewis is going to have a big game running an catching the ball. Same goes with Marty B. I really think he is going to be able to sneak out and extend a ton of drives for this offense. Blount will come in an actually be that change of pace back...weird, but ya....James White will have usual TD pass down the sidelines...

Key to this game is turnovers, plain and simple. You give either of these offenses more shots, you can be down 14 quick. Going to be interesting to see Branch Vs Mack esp if his injury is a concern. Branch is a big, strong dude and it won't be easier blocking him with one good leg. That is where the pressure might come from.

Pretty calm for this game right now...not sure why or what it means.

Go Pats!!!

Can you guys just FUCKING imagine what if Malcolm doesn't make the pick and they score? That's another two years of ain't-won-shit-since-spygate, can't win without cheating, yada yada

We'd all be shittin' ourselves over this one! I sure hope we win but it won't be anything like the two Giants losses if we don't.

The Falcons have scored TDs on their last 8 opening drives. 8 straight games. The Pats can't let that happen today.

Why bother watching...according to 90% of Atl fans they have this SB wrapped up, and wrapped up in a BIG way!! No way NE Defense can stop this offense. I've seen them: destroying, blowing out, humiliating, embarrassing, this Patriots defense...fuck it, it's over....Let's get ready for FA and the draft....fuck this, I'm out....

I for one would love to see the Patriots thoroughly flumox the mighty Atlanta offense. But you still have to play the game. If Atlanta can score a TD on their first drive and the Patriots start slow, who knows.

I want to know how the Pats are going to stop the Falcons RBs. They catch the ball well and are fast. Our LBs don't match up well.

The Falcons offense is a much better version of the Pats 2007 offense. Far more dynamic.

I heard Logan Ryan / Eric Rowe will be on Julio. Buttler is too short.

The Falcons D has to contend with our 3 RBs.

I actually think stopping the run is priority 1a for the Patriots with Julio 1b. Excellent tackling is a good was to start to minimize the YAC.

Patriots and Falcons are #'s 1 & 2 in point differential.
Against playoff teams:
Patriots +59
Falcons +5

Patriots #1 scoring defense
Falcons #29 in 3rd downs made..... This is going to hurt in the redzone!!!!!
