Doesn't seem like it has fractured their focus nor do I think it will. It's brought unwelcomed attention but it's not a comment that really affect or action that would hurt the team on the field.
Wasn't a comment that would fire the other team up or a comment that would cause problems with his teammates.

York raved about how well his hand-picked coach and general manager work together, something he knew would happen 10 minutes into Harbaugh’s job interview two years ago. That’s when Harbaugh asked to loosen his tie and put in some chewing tobacco, to which Baalke did the same. “I could see a mutual respect for each other,”York said.
