Pretty strong chance the NXT show will once again be better than the big show. As for SS, I don't really care what happens as long as Brock Lesnar loses that damn belt. I don't even care how it happens at his point.

I'm hoping they put the belt on Joe. He's reaching the "now or never" point that WWE reaches with guys where they give them title matches but they never win. At some point, the guy reaches that level where its no longer believable that he's gonna win and it hurts him going forward. Even if they give Joe a short run and he ping pongs it back to AJ like a month or two later will go a long way to keeping Joe viable going forward.

FWIW, I also think Braun is at that point too. He needs to win his next title match, whether its a cash in or some match down the road (if KO wins the briefcase) or you're gonna cap his potential

2nd biggest pay per view of the yr. Hoping they finally pull the plug on the Lesnar title reign and we get a full time champ on RAW again.

I'm eager to hear the spin/excuses when they refuse to put the title on Gargano again. It was epic in January watching fans and WWE twist themselves into pretzels spinning/excusing that match result. This one, should it go down the way I think it will, will dwarf that 100 times over.

So yeah. Takeover was amazing. Not a bad match of the bunch. I can't even pick a favorite.

I have a hunch Joe- Styles are going to overdeliver on the hype and build of their match and put on a classic if they get enough time.

The Lesnar/Reigns match has so many moving parts between Heymans storyline and the potential MITB cash in that wasn't even teased but feels like a possibility because the briefcase is on the line earlier in the night.

Rhonda/Bliss and Ziggler/Rollins matches also look good on paper.

Should be a good show.

He deserved it in January, but they didn't want to hotshot the title so quickly. Which is hilarious because Almas dropped the title at the next Takeover in New Orleans. Thus exposing they're not now, and dare I say not ever, going to give the title to Gargano.

I have to give WWE credit. Honestly I don't have a clue what to expect tonight.

I'm leaning towards Owens beating Strowman for the briefcase via some type of fluke (DQ/Countout etc) and there being some type of swerve ending in the main event ( cash in, shield involvement, Heyman turn etc).

It's also likely that Roman pins Lesnar clean and all the secondary stuff is just to keep the crowd as docile as possible for that outcome (booing but not physically rioting).

WWEs done an amazing job with this storyline.

No, the live events for post summer slam to the beginning of September are Reigns vs Stroman. So no way owens get the briefcase, Braun cashes in and leaves with the title.
