Royal Rumble 2019 (also NXT Takeover sat night)

My favorite event of the year. I always love me a good Rumble. This year seems like a toss up that could go any number of ways. I'd say the lean right now is Seth Rollins is winning but there's probably 5 to 10 guys you can make a case for. I got a feeling we won't get any big surprise returns or debuts though. I'm thinking KO comes back and maybe an NXT guy makes an appearance but not officially called up like how Adam Cole was last year. My guess is Velveteen Dream. Gonna be interesting to see how the Women's Rumble is too. The first one was special because it was brand new and there was excitement in seeing which former women's wrestlers would show up. That factor isn't there this time so it'll be fun seeing them put on a more traditional match. The card overall is pretty solid too;

Asuka vs Becky for the SD Women's title
Rousey vs Sasha for the Raw Women's title
CW 4-Title (Murphy,Kalisto, Tozawa, Hitami)

Rusev vs Nakamura for the US Title

And you can forget about NXT Takeover on Saturday. They are routinely the best PPV shows WWE puts on.

Was this event taped or something? As you can see by the time stamp, this screenshot was taken on 1/23 at 8:05 am. How did the person who edited this know how the event would go?

Meaning that the tag title match, one of the 3 match of the year canadites, kicked off takeover

I swear to God, if Becky wins the men's rumble, I'm DONE. It's pretty obvious she's winning a rumble due to her being in the very first match, but this 'the man' bullshit has went way too far.

Lynch won the Women's rumble from 28, replacing injured Lana.

Geez that was long. At least it was a good show, but still. They could probably do with less matches in the future. Both title matches were really good. Loved the Women's rumble and how they just used current women showing you how stacked their women's roster is. Also, holy shit is Kacy Catanzaro TINY. She looked like a kid out there, even compared to Alexa Bliss. Men's Rumble was pretty solid. What's funny is I was watching with my cousin and we both called Jeff Jarrett coming out when we saw Elias start it off. I could have done without the Nia but whatever. They had to kill some time there at the end so that provided some surprise and intrigue before we got to the predictable winner. Not that I'm opposed to Rollins winning, just saying you pretty much knew he was winning, especially once Lashley laid him out.

Second biggest surprised was probably the interference in Bryan/Styles.
