The NFL has totally gone chicken shit since the Bounty thing. Goodel recused himself from the appeals, Reed's suspension was reduced to a fine, and now, this. It seems like that they are reluctant to do any punishment except for the easy ones. That might be a good thing, but I wonder if people are noticing or whether they'll still claim that the NFL is ruthless everywhere? Some of the reluctance to penalize is justified, like Reed's suspension reduction, but it is in contrast to an iron fist NFL.

Thats what really surprises me too. First off, he obviously didn't learn his lesson or give a shit about the punishment for stomping a guy. To come back and kick a guy a year later pretty much shows that he doesn't give a fuck. And secondly, like you said, now he is going to feel like the way to be dirty is just to be more sneaky about it.. he's just going to keep taking dirty cheap shots.

Can you show me where he has ever been in any real trouble with the law?

He's never been in a fight off the field, never had any MIP's or drug possession charges, or beat his girlfriend or killed someone while drunk driving.

These are all things that dozens of players have done, okay just a handful have killed someone while drunk driving, but still.

The pussification of the NFL and society combined with how good suh is and the violence he plays with is to blame for this.
