Thanks Murph and Rev.

Their BP has totally collapsed. Gone 1.2 innings and given up 9 earned.

Our division is not going to play so well in the post season.

Thing is all the teams have problems. Look at the Tigers bullpen. The Orioles who I would love to see make it to the WS are missing Machado and Wieters and for what its worth Davis do not necessarily have the same fear factor with their pitching that these other clubs have. It is wide open to me.

Was not able to see the game but sounds like Martin messed up on a Dunn flyball and Elvis made an ill advised throw. Glad to see Smolinski back and contribute with that HR and Martin has been doing well for the most part in the leadoff spot. BP did great as well. If I read it correctly that was the first 3 run inning for Tepesch and the first time in his 20 starts that the Rangers scored 5 runs while he was still in the game.

You are certainly correct, it appears to be wide open and I would say at this juncture there is no clear cut favorite. Dodgers pitching if it holds and their offense backs them could be a good bet. Time will tell

Martin had his usual bad AB's flailing at pitches, he seemed to be guessing on. Teps run support had been nill in his starts but he has pitched decent. The 2 runs tonight should have been unearned. Leonys is a number 8-9 guy as well as EA. If EA defense continues to be this bad, that contract looks terrible, move him if you can and take your chances on Profar

Rua and Roogie really showed hustle tonight, a great thing to see at this point in a lost season. There is a lot of promise going forward with these kids. Get some guys back healthy and add some pitching that can really contribute and 2015 isn't a total wash at this point.

I did not know how Martin looked at the plate just saw the box score.

Really hard to say until we know who all the candidates will be but I do not have a problem from what I am seeing in having Bogar the manager if it comes to that.

Martin did get 2 hits, and has his avg above .280 for the season. But he missed a very long, but routine, fly by Dunn which was scored as a double. It was an obvious error and should be caught 100% of the time IMO.

Re: Tepesch and his lack of run support. Buzz/TAG brought up that he has the 2nd worst run support in the majors.

I'm really happy that we're winning but at the same time I want that number 1 pick....

Yes sir. I'd like to be a spoiler but not as much as I want he #1 pick.

Rev said something similar to: Our future is more important than Oakland's present.

I'm hoping for a Rangers #1 overall pick and a Baltimore-Seattle ALCS. To me, that would be about as successful of a season as a non-playoff injury disaster season could be.

Joe West receives a one game suspension for his on field spat with Papelbon.

I cannot stand Papelbon, but what West did was unacceptable.

I am of the mind that the more you hear an umpire or other sports official's name it's not a good thing. A good official/umpire should just blend in and we shouldn't really hear that much about them. The most well known umpires in baseball are well known for the wrong reasons. Those would be guys like Joe West, Angel Hernandez, Laz Diaz, and Jim Joyce. Joyce gets a bad rap for the awful call he made in the blown perfect game. Other than that he really is a good umpire, but we know his name more for his loud voice and blown perfect game call.

Finally....I've been carping about this since it happened. And West is so overdue to get taken down a notch. Frankly, I was hoping for a 3 game suspension. But I'll take this as is.

And your take on all those umpires is correct.
