Sports Reporters all over America worked late last night writing an article about how the Pats are screwed now by cutting all their QB's
They filed these articles and sat dow at the office to read the news of the day.
They then find that their article is already obsolete because the Patriots resigned both players!
Now they have to save face by writing something different - in a hurry!
These guys are all pissy about this and taking potshots. I'm enjoying their pain!

You would think Joe Football would know the difference between potentially the best passer (and I wouldn't fight it) and the best QB. The QB position is far from being just about passing. If it were then Bledsoe would be in line not far behind Marino. I'm not saying Bledsoe was nearly the QB that Marino was, but if he had the other QB skills he could have. We all got glossy eyes over Bledsoe's passing, as Joe is with Marino's.

It may be an act. Joe doesn't want to admit Brady was better so he points to someone else with a skill advantage over both him and Brady. If he admits Brady was better then all arguments for Joe are over.

Won't be around much for the next 24.

Gotta drive to Orlando to see a Periodontist this afternoon. Had an implant tooth rod snap about eight weeks ago and a specialist has to have the right tools to unscrew the broken threaded rod. 210 mile round trip. I have an eye specialist appointment tomorrow at 7:00 AM at the VA in Orlando which is a 188 mile round trip. I decided to spend the VA mileage money and spend the night tonight rather than drive back and forth. Marriot will cost me $168 total and the VA will pay me $227 for the mileage so it'll be a wash after getting a pizza for tonight's dinner.

I keep forgetting that Orlando has Disney and Universal. Of course this is the worst time of year for them with kids all headed back to school so there aren't any real cheap hotel rooms available.

Hope y'all enjoy the NFL Kickoff between the Lions and Chiefs tonight. Se y'all around noon tomorrow.
