Yes he is 1-3 in the national title game.

Some coaches haven't even sniffed that game.

OU was complacent for a stretch. Stoops didn't prepare well for Bowl games, even though he was stellar in regular season, averaging 10.6 wins/season. The last few games, Stoops seems to have come out of his shell and RiverBoat Bob may be more appropriate. Most OU fans were calling for Huepel's head on a platter. Perhaps this was the impetus for his recent creativity. I could sit on my ass at home and pretty much predict what play was going to be called. Not so much anymore. The future looks bright.

Not whining at all. Objectively saying deck was stacked a little against them.
Playing USC in the rose bowl and LSU in Nola is a tough thing to do.

It just all depends on where you stop with the facts. Keep in mind this is coming from an Alabama fan who is the one team that is impressive on this list but it really is the only one. Not sure things have changed that much...yet?

2010 beat a 8-5 BCS UConn team with a 12-2 OU team
2011 beat a 7-6 Iowa team with a 10-3 OU team
2012 beat bad by a 11-2 Texas A&M team with a 10-3 OU team
