Let me add this proves more and more the Steelers will never win again as long as Tomlin/Colbert are leading them. They can't even tank for Tua.
Meh. I think Mason Rudolph is for real and Pittsburgh's two toughest games on their schedule are already behind them. I could see them winning 12 games still.
We really judge this trade until we know where the 1st round pick is. Obviously it's bad if Rudolph stinks and they miss out on a QB, but it's a late teens/early 20s at the lowest then fine because Minkah will probably be better than anyone picked there.
Pretty boom or bust.
Exactly this is kind of a head scratcher to me. With Big Ben out for the season combined with his age, plus past talk about hanging up the cleats I don't see him coming back.Well I guess they have faith in Rudolph then. otherwise they would hold onto the 1st for a QB.
Like, I can't even be mad the Chiefs didn't get Fitzpatrick. That's just insane value to give up for Fitzpatrick if you're the Steelers.

Yeah with Tomlin coaching and how bad Butler coaches the D they were lucky to win 8 with Ben.
Brady is available.
I heard today on TV he was rated a late 1st round pick going into the draft. So he might have some upside.
Lets hope they don't draft like the Raiders."Dolphins now set to have three first-round picks (own, Houston, Pittsburgh) in 2020 after the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade. They'll own the draft and they hope Pittsburgh's pick could be high after the Steelers start the year 0-2 plus Ben Roethlisberger out for the year due to injury. Miami set to have SEVEN picks in the first three rounds next spring. Dolphins GM Chris Grier will be the most important decision-maker in the draft next April." = Cameron Wolfe
My comment was directed at the Steelers still getting to 12 wins.I heard today on TV he was rated a late 1st round pick going into the draft. So he might have some upside.
Do you have confidence the Dolphins don't screw this up?"Dolphins now set to have three first-round picks (own, Houston, Pittsburgh) in 2020 after the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade. Top Ten easily imo.Dolphins just picked up a top 10/15 pick. Steelers aren't going to win many games this year.
