He should take Kelenic's spot, though I don't think you can take playing time away from Haggerty the way he's swinging it right now. At the very least he's added when rosters expand for defense and more speed late in games.

Scott Boras: Michael Conforto garnering 'strong interest' from 'very good teams'​

Michael Conforto could return to a major league field as soon as September.

  Michael Conforto's agent, Scott Boras, told Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman of the New York Post that the free agent outfielder is drawing heavy post-draft interest.​

  Conforto's free agency was tied to draft pick compensation, and also weighed down by a right shoulder injury that ultimately required surgery in April. But the 2022 MLB Draft is now over and word is that Conforto is trending toward a return to on-field action sometime in September. Boras told "The Show" podcast with Sherman and Heyman that he had already received four phone calls from interested teams as of Tuesday morning. He hinted that one of those calls was from the Blue Jays.
