like to see how raymond kerr L/L (CLINTON) from lasen CC ca, would do at modesto
he is 6-2 L/L starting pitcher
his era is..395..but has been better..for sure like to see him there next year..but the whole reason to want to send him now is
cuz you would like to send Garcia to the bull pen.even if you have to send him to arkansas to do it..cuz time is a waisting with garcia as a starter.............
just like with diaz you could end up with a really good bullpen guy...with garcia cuz he can stike you out...sometimes.lol

would a move to 1b by jack larsen be good for everyone at this point..he would be a jake bauers type 1B/RF
and add more value for him and the mariners..and he is fairly awsome ..but either way .... jack can play

mariners pipeline...Elon university.......??

for us country "hicks" out west we may not know what an elon is..so lets start with location
elon's location is in north carolina..pobably what we would call a suburb of burlington north carolina
which is right in the middle of winston- salem to raleigh north carolina ,mass rural suburbia.
this is how they describe themselves

Elon is a selective, mid-sized private university renowned as a national model for engaged and experiential learning. Students work closely with faculty who are dedicated to excellent teaching and scholarship. The curriculum is grounded in the traditional liberal arts and sciences and complemented by nationally accredited professional and graduate programs.

2848_elon-university_05.jpg

so with the what explained ( a university) we will get down to the who
with jack zamerelli 111rd ( mariners round 8 2016) and now ryne ogren (mariners round 12 2018) coming from elon.
two prospects from one collage is hardly considered ..a pipeline

but with two really good RHP's possible 2019 draft prospects..the mariners could come calling again
those two pitchers are

kyle brnovich L/R 6-2 pitcher ..just the 4th best SO pitcher in D1 last year....yeah thats all
the three ahead of him where drafted.this year..Logan Gilbert, Luke Hiemlich, and Casey Mize.
so depending on how he does this next year he will probably go in rounds 1-3
......................era.............................ip........................so....
Brnovich, Kyle 1.71 8-2 15-15 1 0-1 0 105.0 57 31 20 36 147 8 0 4 359 .159 12 18 2 2 7

but hold the buss.. cuz they have one more R/R who is good as well
george kirby R/R 6-3..with brnovich getting a lot of attention..george will get plenty as well
with a 289 era and 96 so's in 90 innings
....................,.era..............................ip......................so
Kirby, George 2.89 10-3 15-15 0 0-1 0 90.1 88 36 29 27 96 13 0 3 344 .256 2 5 0 4 6

one more player to keep an eye on is
inf cam devanney 6-1 R/R if he has a good year could get drafted as well

Devanney, Cam .287 45-44 157 28 45 6 1 5 23 68 .433 30 4 24 4 .411 1 0 1 1 58 95 7 .956

prob nice if the mariners drafted one of them at least..lol...to keep the elon pipeline rolling..LOL

good outfielder's..will be a mariners streanth..in the future

most of the mariners...best(of the most..lol) prospects will be from arkanas on down next year ..the line up seem
better than the starting pitching..the bull pens are starting to shape up

mariners need starters and then starters..and then one more time...then 1B and a few 3B as well and a few power hitters
in the next draft..i usually don't go strong on power hitters..but about every three years..ya need to draft some

or have guys hiiting the wieght room

I taped the Futures Game and watched Kyle Lewis's 2 AB's. He looks solid. He flew out the opposite way on a good swing and then worked a tough walk. One of the guys on TV said he would have drafted him #1 overall. He said he was/is that good. He will be good for the team we trade him to for a long reliever that is for sure.
