Ariel Miranda is headed to Japan. After his small sample set in 2016, I thought the mariners had something in this guy. But, 2017 proved that you can't trust a pitcher who is named after a Disney Princess. That one San Francisco Giants pitcher has a girl name and he is pretty good, but it just didn't work out for the Mariners. Good luck, Little Mermaid. I hope Japan is better suited for you.

Dipoto says Florida State catcher Cal Raleigh (third round draft pick) passed his physical in Arizona and signed prior to the 2 pm deadline today. He'll work out in Peoria for awhile and then report to Everett.

How good is he defensively at catcher? I would love him to move up fast and share with Z at the worst case.

that bat..makes him a sluugger..mariners sure could use that...with cruz being 38..i give cruz about 4 years 6 at most..then hand speed starts going down.....with hand speed like mine I know...for sure that that is the case

that is a good fld pct for a team not an individual....but infielders pct always go down..as compared to outfield guys

and the SS always has the worst ..but he see's more chances than anyone else.like sanders had a 963 or something like that......that was the...... next lvl of the top noch guys in collage baseball i could find...

so when they drafted him #10 i already know he was ok..and even though he is not doing great at everett i know he can hit as well


its all good as long as Depoto does not trade them away..i dont think he will at this point

with most of the team put together ...just need the remaining pieces
