while the mariners still have holes in there system..last year's draft went a long way in filling holes in the middle infield
positions
with adding zack scott, beau branton,bobby honeyman,conner kopach, ryne ogron and matt sanders and adding them to
johnny adams,louis boyd,eugene helder, and conner hoover and joseph rosa
also with an awsome cesar izturas.jr up and coming

that is 11 guy's to start at modesto or clinton next year...for more or less 8 positions(does not count 1B)...those are good numbers
and while they will still need to draft middle infield guys..it is not there biggest need..at this point

starting pitching is there biggest need...strait up to the big leagues...1b and cf..could use more guys as well

mariners catchers
while not totally unnoticed..catchers often are..so lets do a run down of mariners catching
while at the big league..they have
zunino,frietas and herman...and expectations are. they will be the same next year

while garrett kennedy was traded in march from dodgers to mariners and is at tacoma
as far as i know he will be a free agent(milb)..along with cameron rupp..who was with the phili's
till DFAed..then signed a MILB contract with the mariners..and is at tacoma as well

at arkansas we have joe decarlo who was a mariners #2 round pick in 2012 at 3b out of HS
who they converted to a catcher...unless they put him on the 40 man he could be a free agent
as well as other guys at..... AA

but the best part starts at modesto with

nick thurman L/R out two years from louisiana- lafeyette..he will prob be at modesto again
and manny pazos R/R free agent out of pitt in 2017
both are good and will prob be at modesto again

with
juan comacho R/R 6-3 from mexico in 2015(gets 6 years..so has 2 to go)) tearing up the clinton league..we will prob see him at modesto

rainis silva from venezuela..will get one more year..prob at clinton
with this years drafted guys

jake anchia R/R 6-1(round 7..2018)

cal raleigh..S/R..6-3 (round 3..2018)

that is not bad but catchers would be next on the list after CF..they could use a couple good ones in the top half of the draft
and a HS catcher somewhere in there to hang out at AZL a couple years

dean nevarez R/R 6-0 ..out of san diego (round 19 ..2018)will prob be at aqua sox next year

ismurling mota from the dominican is hitting well at AZL and could end up..at a higher lvl

and at DSL

daniel santos is tearing it up ..so should come up to AZL along with rodriguez RF

i also dont rate the white sox system as high as they do..the other's i can go with though
