I agree with the OP, but man, what I would trade for the Rangers lineup. I have a weird gut feeling they are going to put up some serious numbers this World Series on their way to the ring.

Remember, all trades happen for a reason. Even the team that got the 'shitty end' of the deals had their reasons, and hindsight is what makes the trades so bad.

Remember, all trades happen for a reason. Even the team that got the 'shitty end' of the deals had their reasons, and hindsight is what makes the trades so bad.

A few to be considered would be...

- Sandberg to the Cubs from Phillies
- A's trading Maris to the Yankees
- Mets getting Johan from the Twins

Just a few that came to mind quickly. I think in the grand scheme of things, the AJ trade was not THAT bad. Sure it sucked for the G's, but that was just because of the epic doush-ness that is AJ. Liriano is good, but injury prone (thus can not REALLY be counted on) and Bonser was a bust.

But I actually agree, the trade did suck but only in hindsight. You don't usually have 2 prospects turn out to be allstars when you deal them.

Would the Cubs trading Lou Brock to the Cards be on the list?
