Every year I say it and every year I mean it...

I've never been so excited about NL baseball than this season. The NL Central and West are going to be so much fun but I'm putting my money on the Cards and Dodgers. They're built to last.

Yeah I'm not sure about that.

I could easily see the Dodgers falling apart. They're riding 2 incredibly hot bats that will eventually cool off. I don't like that lineup really at all.

Cards are riding a lot of young, untested pitchers. Offensively, they were EXTREMELY fortunate the first half of the season. Their avg. with 2 out and RISP was among the best EVER.

They're falling back to the pack a bit in both areas, or as Cowboy would say "normalizing"

Every team that gets in can win. They all have enough talent. Just takes a hot 3 weeks to win it all.

The Cards werent going to hit .340 with risp all year just because they are the Cards, thats just lucky as hell over the long run.

Barring a Piratesqe collapse, I dont see the Dbacks over taking anyone for a wildcard spot, noone in the NL west sold anything, the Cubs blew it up, and the Brewers have lots of issues now.

Roidier and Craig are mired in awful slumps. They start hitting .250 again and the Cards will be right back on top in the division.
