The most awesome part about this would be that it would probably be the longest relocation ever.

One question I have.

New conference configuration has 17 teams in the Eastern Conference & 13 teams in the Western Conference, which calls for an asymmetrical design. Is this alright or do you want a design similar to what we got already?

That's cool. I'll just put something together (hopefully be done by the end of the weekend) and if they accept it they accept it, if they reject it they reject it. Wish the NHL had the same number of teams in each conference tho, would be a lot easier LOL

I'll try to provide you with some layouts. With both conferences having different number of teams, I don't think the current layout works out. Hopefully we could find something that's aesthetically pleasing and also differentiates between the Eastern & Western Conference teams.

Progress report:

Just finished uploading the logos on Illustrator. Was thinking of following a template like this,

Not exactly like that but I like how they sort the logos.

About halfway done. Got all my logos in Adobe Illustrator. Sorted the logos on the banner this morning. Gonna add some effects later this afternoon/evening. Hopefully I'll have a jpg file to share by tonight & you guys could give me some feedback.

Division D = Atlantic Division
Division C = Metropolitan Division
Division B = Central Division
Division A = Pacific Division

Not being in the same division as the Hawks is just flat out wrong, sick and wrong. However, the potential of a Detroit-Chicago SCF in my lifetime is mouth watering.

That is a great point.

But the Hawks are still the only one of the original six left in the West. Looks like the Kings, Sharks, and Canucks will be their competition for the West for awhile.
