Personally, there's no way in Hell I would trade Micah. I would have traded Dak before giving him $40M. I would let him walk before giving him $60M. I would have traded Diggs and his no tackling always injured ass. But I'm not trading Lamb or Micah period. Micah makes the rest of the scrubs we have up better by drawing double and triple teams nearly every play. You don't trade young top 5 pass rushers
If he is not going to make a difference in us winning or loosing but his trade could, why?

Really? When he was injured this season our defense was getting crushed. When he came back, we won games and played competitive with Cooper Rush at the helm

Micah is a once in a generation superstar. I never understood the talk of trading him. You spend your life trying to get a player like Micah. He and Lamb are the two you pay whatever it takes to keep. Giving good, but not great players huge deals is what kills your cap. Keeping great players does not.

Yes. True.

What if we got 2 DT a LT and another Olineman worthy of a 2nd round pick (that would be key here)?

He can be a difference maker but what difference did it make this year when we had so many holes?

So we root for one or two guys cause the other starting 20 don't do shit.

I understand winning games. Lamb and Micah were fun as hell to watch in every loss this year.

Hypothetically, if we were back to drafting the best player on our board like when we took Micah and Lamb, you might get equal value back. But we are drafting for need. So let's use your draft haul against our recent factual success...Two 1sts and a 2nd? Big haul. Last two years that nets the Cowboys Mazi Smith(1st), Luke Schoonmaker(2nd) and Tyler Guyton(1st) for Micah Parsons. I'll pass

I guess you stopped watching by the time Micah came back and the defense looked totally different. They are building block players that you can build a winning franchise around. It's not their fault there are very few other good players that were healthy this year. Trading them and starting over with draft picks that may or may not pan out may look good to you but not me. Superstars win Super Bowls. Let's say you get 3 first round picks for Micah. You think a team is better off with Micah or the 3 guys we draft in the first round (Tyler, Guyton and Mazi) since we picked him? Let's take it a step further and say you get 2 1st rounders for CeeDee also. So do we want Micah and CeeDee or our other last 5 first rounders (Taco, Vander Esch Tyler, Guyton and Mazi). If only it were as easy as it looks on paper...

Look at the Giants. Had a superstar running back and let him go for nothing. How did that work out? Don't let a superstar go in thier prime. The draft is crap shoot. Moreover, I don't trust Jerry to get it right.

I cringe a little when I think about trading Micah. Yes the picks would be nice, but then you would have to replace Micah using one of those picks. They not finding a Lamb or Micah in the 2025 draft. This joke of a front office starts drafting horribly when they have lots of picks.

Yep they would treat them like practice golf balls. Ohhh, well that one did not go well, I have more to hit.

Exactly. The defense carried us when Micah got back. We won 4 of 5 with Rush at QB. Lamb was playing badly hurt the last half of the year, he goes out and we get our doors blown off by Philly and lose to a Washington team that we had thumped a few weeks earlier. You build the offense a round Lamb and the defense around Micah, you don't trade them.

I have seen the Burden 111 WR from Missouri linked to us. Tempting.

He is a big time run after the catch guy. I wouldn't mind him but if we go WR, the guy I really like the most is Egbuka from Ohio State. He has been compared to Hines Ward, runs great routes like an Amari Cooper, but he also will block his ass off. Not spectacular, but we have spectacular out there in Lamb. I think a guy who can get uncovered and give Dak an open option is a huge need. I always felt he missed Cole Beasley after he left

McClay signs up for another 5 years.

There are certain people I will not bitch about with this team and he might be at the very top of the list.
