The film on Vaughn speaks volumes. I agree with Tomlinson. It not like Vaughn was doing this against small schools. Some guys are just great football players regardless of size. Now if Moore was still here? I would not be as high on Vaughn the fact is the Cowboys had no chance to beat the Niners after Pollard went down. Not enough fire power on offense.

Just read today, but had forgotten, cap goes all the way up to $256M next year

2022: $208M
2023: $224M
2024: $256M

plus we have $24M in space right now. Plenty of room to re-sign our guys and still sign a big time free agent

Injured 2nd rounder, of course.
Not the pick I would have made mainly because I thought we needed OL more. Hopefully he works out there is potential for him to be a weapon. Hopefully this turns out better than Joseph . They seem to be lights out on 1st round picks. They need to do better in round 2. Now last year they got Sam Williams who IMO was underrated and he was the guy I wanted in round two.

Anyone interested in Dalvin Cook once he is released? For the right price, he could be a great add
If the right price is $4M or less, sure. But I can't imagine it will be. I'm not one to blindly state you shouldn't spend money on RBs because each player and situation is different and I'm not a fan of generalizing by position, but we already tagged Pollard. We shouldn't also be spending big on a #2 or even if a #1a :2cents:

not blocking a LB he's not.

Just say no to Cook unless Pollard can't play
He would be a good back up for Pollard at the right price. Zeke was great at blocking, but running? Not so much.

so...Pollard 2.0 with Vaughn is a good runningback room?

I don't know, those 1 & 2 yard runs in hee-man situations can have value. I'd rather have Zeke in the RB room than Cooks, maybe thats just me.

Your points are valid. I would just rather have Cook, only at a team friendly price.
