Can't say I'm all that surprised only two WR were taken in the 1st rd, altho I thought at least one would be snatched up in the mid-late teens. I've said all along this was a weak draft for receivers, at least with respect to 1st round talent. I'm sure this position will fare better today in rounds 2 & 3.

The Bears pick 7th in today's draft, and unless Pace swings some type of trade that gets us into the 3rd round, that will be it for us today. Still, there should be some decent talent, some who were judged as 1st rd candidates.

OL: Will Hernandez, James Daniels, Connor Williams
OLB/EDGE: Harold Landry, Arden Key, Lorenzo Carter
DE: Sam Hubbard, Rasheem Green, Dexter Lawrence
WR: Courtland Sutton, DJ Chark, Christian Kirk, Equanimeous St. Brown, Anthony Miller
Secondary: Joshua Jackson, Mike Hughes, Ronnie Harrison, Isaiah Oliver

Some solid talent remaining, so we shouldn't have any problems with a really good player there at #39. I bolded who would be my pick depending on which position is taken by Pace. Out of everyone above, the only player I'd consider actually trading UP for would be Hernandez, altho Jackson would be tempting as well.

Mike Hughes is off the board.
