I'm pretty sure Vick is in Pittsburgh. As of right now it might be the PS kid from Detroit. We'll know more in a day or two.

I wish Vick was out there he'd be a decent band aid and what be cap friendly. Wish we could trade for Hundley or Murray. Obviously neither guy is ready to lead a team especially a playoff contender, but it may be time to groom Romo's replacement.

Weeden is fine as a backup. If a backup were so good they'd be a starter somewhere. He had two chances last year. in his first chance when Romo got hurt during the game he looked as good as he did yesterday. Then he was horrible against Arizona, but Arizona has a really good defense. I don't think you can expect a backup to not struggle a little against them. Plus we couldn't run that game. Yeah, we are obviously going to miss Romo, but if we can run the ball I think we can get through the next couple of months until he comes back with Weeden.

Backup QB - seems they like Moore better than Vaughn based on what they did, but since Vaughn knows the offense maybe he gets the nod for the next week or two and then they figure out which they like better. Any free agent vets out there?

Good Lord...Vaughn or Moore at QB would be a total disaster, doubt we could beat anyone if it came to that(as it would be with the #3 option for both teams) I know it sounds absurd, but I would sign Tebow. At least if something happened to Weeden, Tebow could at least offer a running threat. Moore and Vaughn, zip

I would never sign Tebow. Not only would you have to change your Offense, but he is incredibly inaccurate too. IMO there is no more important attribute for a QB than accuracy. Just don't see how it is better than one of these other guys, even know they are likely not good options either. Last time Romo got hurt many here were calling for Vaughn to get a chance to play. Now we don't even want him as an emergency backup. I have confidence that the team will find a guy to fill the role and knowing the offense for the first week is important. But, yeah, if Weeden goes down that wouldn't be good...
