Dallas gave a 2017 5th for Cassel and a 2017 7th.
Not a bad trade for insurance.
There wasn't one other option I like anyway. Not sure if this is a workable option or not but at least Cassel is better than the rest of the QB's mentioned. Who knows maybe he is better than Weeden and takes over as #2 in 16.
