So... the backup QB position

What are we doing here? I like Bagent potentially as a long term backup that stays around for a while. However, I'm not huge on having a QB room of Bagent and Brett Rypien - along with a rookie QB. I would really like to get a veteran with some actual experience in there.

Think the idea of Ryp is his knowledge of the playbook. Are there any available qb veterans with that understanding? Dunno.

We're putting a lot of eggs into the Shane Waldron/Kerry Joseph basket as far as Williams is concerned. They brought in Rypien for those two guys and Bagent has earned his spot on the roster and proven that he can hold us over for a few games if Williams got injured.

Doubtful we make any more moves.

There's nothing in that article that claims we are tied for him. It is literally one dude writing an article saying that he feels it's the "best fit". This is merely according to him. It's not even bull shit. It's essentially an opinion piece.

Same here, I've seen nada when it comes to linking Tannehill with the Bears. Frankly I'm a bit surprised Tannehill remains unsigned. He'd make a helluva backup.
