I would be quite the unhappy camper right now, but that game had almost zero consequence for the Chiefs as evidenced of Reid's willingness to sit 20 of 22 starters.

Steelers got hosed! Should have been a penalty on the Chargers on the 41 yard missed field goal, which would have given Succop another shot (this one from 36)...instead, it's no penalty, OT and a Chargers win.

and a whoops, from the NFL? I think they should give Succop a 36 yarder right now, and if he hits it, they switch. I mean, seriously, oops? Wrong team in the playoffs, sorry folks?

Times when it's good to be a Bills fan!

Teams that start 0-4 and are 2-6 at the midway point..... don't get hosed when it comes to missing the playoffs

I've mentioned this more than once and NOOOOOOBODY wanted to answer me.

There was even a Browns fan that said the Chargers maintained possession because someone's helmet came off.

When you start out 0-4 or have to depend on other teams to get you into the playoffs, you dont deserve to be in there!!!!

Love the black and gold, but we did not belong in the playoffs with all the shit from this year!!!!
Sorry, you either control your destiny or get the boot, as they did!!!

Anyone have any footage of the fumble from an angle you can see the ball? The NFL highlights gloss right on over the whole thing so from the obscure angle you see, it looks like the helmet comes off before the strip

but you yourself said u saw no worries in winning yesterday. Yet it took two major blunders, and 20 starters sitting for an ot victory

To be sorta fair to the refs, the overloading of the line penalty I believe is a new one just put into affect this year. I can see how they can miss that one.

However, the officiating overall in the NFL is at an all time low and, in my opinion, part of the problem is they have put so much emphasis on officials to call all these hard hits and look for anything that might resemble a safety violation that they losing focus on the basics of officiating and, as a result, losing their ability to do their job.

The Chargers deserve a little help. They got screwed in the 2007 / 2008 AFC Championship game (the last time they were really good).

Oh I agree. That's why I wasn't mad at KC for resting their players. KC has to do what was best for them, and that means resting their starters since they wont get a bye week.

We had our fate in our hands even later in the year but lost to Miami. :wtf2:

That being said there are a whole LOT of people in Cincy hapy that they wont be seeing us this coming Sat. and SD stunk up their own house getting a must have game against scrubs.

I'm telling you...that Cincy-SD game is going to be ugly.

Really doesn't matter who is in there, honestly, with the road going through Denver....

Its Manning's Championship to loose!!!!

I agree. Think of the road Cincy will have to travel...

They'll beat SD like dogs this weekend...

Then have to go to the Pats where BB will put on a clinic about post season play to Marvin Lewis.

And IF they get past that it's onto Denver.

And IF they get past that they'll have to take on (likely) the Seahawks or Panthers.

They'll get their first win in 23 years this weekend but it ends there.
