Seems a little weird to ding him for leading the league in attempts when he also leads in yards per attempt...
I never said he wasn't good lol.

What I mean is there are very few featured backs these days. It used to be most teams had a workhorse back who they stuck with.

Nowhere did I say he wasn't good lol.

He's just a very rare example at that position in this era. There was a time when backs would get nearly as much hype as QBs because every team wanted a featured workhorse.

The top 3 should be Allen, Lamar and Henry in no specific order. Allen has 15 total TD’s and zero INT’s
Allen definitely in the conversation but he has had some turnover luck as well and it will likely even out at some point. I think you have to have Jared Goff in the discussion though. And right or wrong, Henry can be talked about in the discussion all day but it won't happen unless every QB gets hurt or totally shits the bed. It just is the reality of the award. As I said earlier, when he had 2k yds and absolutely carried the Titans, he won OPOY but didn't even sniff the MVP. It was Rodgers, Mahomes, Allen. I don't think we will ever see a RB win the MVP again

If Henery gets his 2000yds+ and hits 20 TDs he should be the MVP
Personally...I'm hoping for more of a timeshare at RB for the Ravens when Keaton Mitchell gets back. Hopefully Henry would see the value in keeping his carries down a bit.

He's a beast but it's a QB award.. Henry would have to break the record to win it imo. That's not necessarily wrong either. If Lamar goes down so do their chances ... not necessarily if Henry does.

That makes sense. Keep him healthy as possible rolling into the playoffs.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. They went 13-4 last year, losing a close AFCC game to the super bowl champs without Henry.
I will say that the Ravens defense has only shut down one team this year. 26th in PPG defense. 1st in offense. Last year they were 1st on defense and 4th on offense. So its not quite like it used to be. Henry is an MVP candidate but yeah...its Lamar right now.

At this point it should be

Lamar
Goff
Allen
Henery

I think he would have to beat Dickerson's record for yds by a healthy margin (like 2200+) and Tomlinson's TD record to even have a chance, tbh. Might even need to break the 30 TD threshhold. I doubt he can really get that close to that. It's a long season and I would think Harbaugh wants to make sure he's good for the play-off run. And with Lamar doing what he does, it will be really a tall order.

Any updates on Mitchell?
I believe he started practicing this week. Not sure how much he's doing. There's a 21-day practice window that was opened (before he has to be placed on the 53-man roster) so I'm guessing they think he is 2-3 weeks away.
